01Work

Work you can examine

Devitin client project

Connecting wearable data to web and mobile applications

Confidential client · In progress in the August 2026 portfolio

The challenge

Connect athlete monitoring devices to a shared software ecosystem for coaches and analysts, with live views and historical data.

Devitin’s scope

A React web platform, a Flutter mobile application and a backend API integrated with the receiver device’s firmware. The scope also includes research into AI for processing field data.

System boundary

Our role is the software and its integration with the device. The client’s identity, source code and proprietary implementation details remain confidential.

Engineering deliverables

The project scope covers architecture and prototypes, a documented API, web and mobile applications, hardware-software integration testing and technical documentation for handover.

Projects built by our founders

These individual projects show the team’s technical range. Public repositories let you inspect implementation choices; they are distinct from Devitin’s client engagements.

02Your engineering partner

One team across the product stack

Devitin is a Brazilian software and systems engineering company founded in 2024 by two computer engineers and two computer scientists, trained at the Federal University of Ceará and UNICAMP.

We work at the interfaces that make connected products useful: firmware that captures data, protocols that move it, backends that process it and applications people can use. Bring us a complete product or a clearly defined part of an existing system.

You work directly with the founders who scope and develop the solution. We agree on responsibilities, deliverables and acceptance criteria before implementation.

A device-to-cloud integration, a customer-facing app or a backend your product depends on. One engineering partner to connect the pieces.

  2. Board
  3. Firmware
  4. Protocol
  5. Backend↓ Software-only projects too
  6. Application

Start where your project needs us. Hardware and firmware can be part of the engagement, or we can focus on the backend and applications around an existing device.

03Engineering capabilities

Built around your technical bottleneck

Connected products are our focus. Backend, applications, applied AI and 3D printing and modeling can also be scoped as standalone engagements.

  • A good fit when

You have an idea for a device — a sensor, a piece of equipment, a wearable — and you need it to become a product. Or you already have the hardware, but it doesn't talk to anything.

We design and integrate the complete chain: sensor and component selection, electronic schematic, PCB layout and routing, embedded firmware, communication protocol, cloud ingestion and the visualization application.

    Technical scope

    • Electronic design: schematic, component selection, board layout and routing
    • Firmware in C for microcontrollers in general — ARM Cortex-M (STM32 family), ESP32 and similar — with ADC acquisition, hardware timing and power management
    • Serial communication protocols, including custom framing and error handling
    • Long-range wireless communication for field applications
    • Embedded Linux: systemd, journald, clock synchronization, network camera integration
    • Bench testing, electrical validation and hardware-firmware integration debugging

An example of what this produces

A reaction-time training and evaluation platform for martial arts athletes, built by one of the partners. A physical target with ten points, each with an LED and a piezoelectric impact sensor, driven by an STM32 microcontroller. The desktop application lights a random point, the firmware times the strike and returns the reaction time with tenth-of-a-millisecond resolution. Results are stored and exportable.

Sensor, board, firmware, protocol, application and database — the entire chain, in a single project.

04Ways to work together

Start with a clear first step

Choose an engagement around a specific outcome. Scope, fees, capacity and timing are agreed in the proposal.

01

Technical discovery

For teams with an idea or a difficult integration

A paid scoping engagement to map requirements, architecture, interfaces and technical risks.

You receive an implementation plan, prioritized scope and a delivery estimate.

02

Scoped product build

For product teams with a defined milestone

A device integration, backend or application delivered against agreed acceptance criteria.

You receive the agreed software, tests, source code and handover documentation.

03

Engineering partnership

For agencies and product consultancies

A defined engineering workstream alongside your team, with responsibilities and client communication agreed up front.

You receive a scoped contribution, integration documentation and an agreed handover.

05How we work

Know what happens after the introduction

We start by understanding your product, existing systems and constraints. An initial conversation establishes fit; detailed discovery and implementation are scoped separately.

  1. Define the outcome

Share the problem, your existing stack, target date and budget range. We identify what we can take on and what needs investigation.

  2. Agree on scope and responsibilities

Document the architecture, deliverables, acceptance criteria, dependencies and commercial terms. Agree on meeting times and the engineers assigned to the work.

  3. Build and review working increments

Implement the agreed work, demonstrate progress at agreed checkpoints and record decisions. Changes to scope are assessed before they become commitments.

  4. Validate and hand over

Test the agreed interfaces and workflows, support the defined deployment and hand over source code and documentation. Maintenance and support are scoped explicitly.

What you receive at the end

Source code, technical documentation and a clear handover for the agreed deliverables. Ownership, third-party licenses and support terms are documented in the contract.

07Working across borders

Based in Brazil. Built around your project.

Fortaleza operates on UTC−3 throughout the year. That makes same-day collaboration practical with teams in the Americas and parts of Europe; meeting windows are agreed for each engagement.

Work directly with the founders through a Brazilian B2B services agreement. We define the project language, reporting, access controls, data handling and commercial terms during scoping.

For businesses exploring Brazil, we can discuss Portuguese-language software adaptation and integration with local systems. Each engagement starts with a technical scope and feasibility assessment.

Before we start

Can we hire you as a company?

Yes. Devitin is a Brazilian limited liability company, registered under CNPJ 57.611.786/0001-09. The agreement identifies the scope, deliverables, payment terms and responsibilities of both companies.

Can you work with our existing team?

We can scope a specific workstream with your engineers or agency. Team allocation, communication, repository access and any white-label arrangement are agreed before the project starts.

How do you price a project?

After an initial fit conversation, we propose a paid discovery or a defined implementation scope. Estimates depend on technical uncertainty, delivery requirements and available capacity.

Can you work remotely on a physical device?

We plan access to boards, test data and a reproducible test setup during discovery. Shipping, bench testing, deployment and any on-site work must be included explicitly in the scope.
